The Jaguar E-Type, unveiled in 1961 at the Geneva Motor Show, is regarded as one of the most beautiful cars ever produced. Designed under the guidance of Malcolm Sayer, it captivates with its flowing lines, long bonnet, and sleek profile. A true icon of the 1960s, it embodies both British elegance and sporty performance. Its smooth and powerful inline six-cylinder engine allowed it to reach remarkable speeds for its time. The E-Type quickly won over automotive enthusiasts around the world. Its monocoque chassis and four-wheel disc brakes demonstrated a clear technological advantage. Available in both coupe and roadster versions, it offered a driving experience that was as exhilarating as it was authentic. The refined interior blends sportiness with understated luxury. Produced until 1974, it remains an essential reference among classic cars. As a timeless symbol of British craftsmanship, the Jaguar E-Type continues to fascinate classic car enthusiasts.
This Jaguar E-Type underwent a complete restoration in 2017. The accompanying file documents each stage of the work in detail, with numerous photographs and invoices. Its Jaguar Heritage certificate confirms its original specification, featuring the stunning Pale Primrose Yellow exterior paired with a Black interior. Since the restoration, it has covered approximately 2,000 kilometers, reflecting careful use.
Recently, it benefited from an extensive overhaul carried out in our workshops. The work included the installation of an electronic ignition, an aluminum radiator with integrated fan and trigger sensor, and a complete refurbishment of the carburetors. The engine and gearbox seals were fully renewed, the rear axle was completely restored, and the rear brakes were overhauled with new discs and pistons. The front suspension also underwent a complete renovation. Additional upgrades include an aluminum center console, a leather-covered upper dashboard, and stainless steel headers paired with a Big Bore exhaust system. Today, this E-Type is fully ready to hit the road, with no expenses required.
