“Visible in France (Atelier des Coteaux)”
According to the archives of the Citroën Conservatory, this 7C convertible was manufactured on November 7, 1934, which makes it one of the very first examples of a 7C convertible, the most successful version for the year 34.
Purchased in 2012, although it had been registered in the Var since 1980, this convertible had the advantage of being complete and having its serial, bodywork and engine numbers matching. Father and son, aware of the exceptional nature of this example, will then jointly carry out its restoration, with the aim of a quality restoration, in strict compliance with the original configuration, thanks to the advice of the model’s historians. Absolutely everything has been restored, the original mechanics have been overhauled, the body completely stripped and repainted, the upholstery redone, and all the accessories specific to this vintage have been found.
The car has only driven a few miles since this resurrection.
If this version is already rare in itself, the fact that it is strictly in accordance with the origin and with matching numbers is truly remarkable.
A true collector’s item, this beautiful convertible will satisfy the most demanding enthusiasts.
the restoration of this car was completed about 4 years ago, some photos and invoices are on file. Its Citroën Heritage certificate is available and certifies that this car is in conformity when it left the factory. Also provided with an important compliance file with many details.
